Growing tomatoes Italian way
An old Italian man lived alone in the country. He wanted to dig his tomato garden but it was very hard work as the ground was hard. His only son, Vincent, who used to help him, was in prison.
The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament:
Dear Vincent,
I am feeling pretty badly because it looks like I won’t be able to plant my tomato garden this year.
I’m just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. I know if you were here my troubles would be over. I know you would be happy to dig the plot for me.
Love, Dad
A few days later he received a letter from his son:
Dear Dad,
Don’t dig up that garden. That’s where I buried the bodies.
Love, Vinnie
At 4 a.m. the next morning, FBI agents and local police arrived and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left.
That same day the old man received another letter from his son:
Dear Dad,
Go ahead and plant the tomatoes now.
That’s the best I could do under the circumstances.
Love you, Vinnie
cheers..

Menjalankan Kehidupan Dengan Benar-Benar Hidup
Ketika kita masih kecil, kita selalu berharap, "Kalau saja nanti saya SMP/SMA waduh saya bisa naik sepeda/sepeda motor sendiri. Sekolah alangkah nikmatnya." Ketika sudah SMP/SMA kita berpikir, "Kalau aku jadi mahasiswa, pasti keren. Bisa pacaran." Maka kita mengharap dan mengharap dan mengharap jadi mahasiswa.
Ketika kita diterima di universitas, kita senang. Begitu jadi mahasiswa kita berpikir, "Kapan ya kita lulus. Setelah diwisuda aku bisa bekerja." Maka kita terus berpikir seperti itu. Terus mengharapkan wisuda.
Setelah lulus kuliah diterima bekerja.
Tanpa terasa waktu berjalan.

Everything happens for a reason..
We often hear this phrase "Everything happens for a reason". Does it always true? me myself believe that everything happens for a reason.. for a higher purpose. I believe that everything contains a gift or a lesson, though I may not always be able to see it in the moment, but i'm sure that one day when i found out the reason then i'll be very grateful of what happened in the past and probably regret why did i complain, blaming and feel guilty so much that time..
Recently, I did some job hunting and found one job that challange me, that attract me. It was a math tutor but this math academy has a unique way of teaching math to children. I am so interested, i thought maybe i could use some changes in my careers, or maybe i could be a great teacher since i love children, or maybe there's a piece missing in my life because of my loss recently so i thought maybe this job will fullfil me or something.
First i was hesitated, what if i couldn't be a good teacher? and many other what if.. so i didn't apply for that job.. then few days later i still saw that job advertising... and the week after that... and even the week after the long lebaran holiday.. then i began to think what if this is the right job for me? what if this is meant to be? so i applied for that job, and i got a call for interview..
Then i met this lovely lady, Widya, she was the one who interviewed me, i dont know why but i feel like i already like her. We had a small talk, but unfortunately the salary didn't suit me. So i have to let it go, eventhough i really like the job. A few days later, I got a call from her again, it was a surprise, we met and we talked. She offer me a freelance job, and gave me the sample. It was nice talking to her, she's nice and stuff. Then she recomend me to read "Happy for No Reason - 7 Steps to being happy from the inside out by Marci Shimoff & Carol Kline". I was very attracted to the book after i read the title (eventhough i haven't see the book). I went to the bookstore the next day and bought the book straight away and start reading..
I found this book very inspiring, and i believe that i can be happy for no reason.. i want to be happy for no reason.. i began to think about all my past experiences, all my bad habbits with fullon complaining, blaming and feel guilty.. i just want to be happy! So far I've learned that to be happy we have to be less complaining, less blaming, focus on the solutions, make peace with yourself, and be more grateful for everything u have.
It was very worth it reading this book.. so probably you should read it too.. i recomend this book.. probably after i read this book and practicing the theories to my life, i can be happy, all that mental block that block my happiness will go away..
Anyway, I submit the samples, hoping that it'll suit the academy, then few days later, she called me and they accept my sample, it was really surprising seeing that i didn't think it was good enough, so I met her again today, we had talk, i feel like we are very similar in someway, i feel like i knew her for years already.. and she said that probably we met for a reason.. who knows? then it hit me.. yeah probably i met her for a reason.. maybe i can finally make inner peace of myself.. maybe i can be a better person.. maybe i can be happy from the inside out! who knows, right?
I don't really know what exactly is the reason for all of this yet, but from what i know so far, i got a good friend that i can talk to, and also i found this really amazing book that could change my life. Hope it could change your life too when u read it :)

WIFE VS. HUSBAND
WIFE VS. HUSBAND
A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word.An earlier discussion had led to an argument andneither of them wanted to concede their position. As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs, the husband asked sarcastically, 'Relatives of yours?''Yep,' the wife replied, 'in-laws.'
W O R D S
A husband read an article to his wife about how many words women use a day...30,000 to a man's 15,000.The wife replied, 'The reason has to be because we have to repeat everything to men...The husband then turned to his wife and asked, 'What?'
CREATION
A man said to his wife one day, 'I don't know how you can beso stupid and so beautiful all at the same time.' The wife responded, 'Allow me to explain.God made me beautiful so you would be attracted to me;God made me stupid so I would be attracted to you!
WHO DOES WHAT
A man and his wife were having an argument about whoshould brew the coffee each morning. The wife said, 'You should do it, because you get up first, and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee.'The husband said, ' You are in charge of cooking around here andyou should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my coffee.'Wife replies, 'No, you should do it, and besides, it is in the Biblethat the man should do the coffee.'Husband replies, 'I can't believe that, show me.'So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testamentand showed him at the top of several pages, that it indeed says........ .'HEBREWS'
The Silent Treatment
A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving eachother the silent treatment. Suddenly, the man realized that the next day,he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business flight..Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper,'Please wake me at 5:00 AM.' He left it where he knew she would find it.The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AMand he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go andsee why his wife hadn't wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper bythe bed. The paper said, 'It is 5:00 AM. Wake up.'Men are not equipped for this kind of contest.
moral of the story: God may have created man before woman, but there is always a rough draft before the masterpiece.

Apa kata dunia?

Same mistake - James blunt
I've been listening to this song over and over again.. love it.. (and so many thanks to Mr. E!) here are the lyrics..
Saw the world turning in my sheets and once again I cannot sleep.
Walk out the door and up the street; look at the stars beneath my feet.
Remember rights that I did wrong, so here I go.
Hello, hello.
There is no place I cannot go.
My mind is muddy but my heart is heavy.
Does it show?
I lose the track that loses me, so here I go.
And so I sent some men to fight, and one came back at dead of night.
Said he'd seen my enemy.
Said he looked just like me,
So I set out to cut myself and here I go.
Ref. I'm not calling for a second chance,I'm screaming at the top of my voice.
Give me reason but don't give me choice.
'Cause I'll just make the same mistake again.
And maybe someday we will meet, and maybe talk and not just speak.
Don't buy the promises 'cause, there are no promises I keep.
And my reflection troubles me, so here I go.
Ref.
Saw the world turning in my sheets and once again I cannot sleep.
Walk out the door and up the street; look at the stars.
Look at the stars fall down. And wonder where did I go wrong.
cheers..

Quote of the day
"A couple of hundred years ago, Benjamin Franklin shared with the world the secret of his success. Never leave that till tomorrow, he said, which you can do today. This is the man who discovered electricity. You think more people would listen to what he had to say. I don't know why we put things off, but if I had to guess, I'd have to say it has a lot to do with fear. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, sometimes the fear is just of making a decision, because what if you're wrong? What if you're making a mistake you can't undo? The early bird catches the worm. A stitch in time saves nine. He who hesitates is lost. We can't pretend we hadn't been told. We've all heard the proverbs, heard the philosophers, heard our grandparents warning us about wasted time, heard the damn poets urging us to seize the day. Still sometimes we have to see for ourselves. We have to make our own mistakes. We have to learn our own lessons. We have to sweep today's possibility under tomorrow's rug until we can't anymore. Until we finally understand for ourselves what Benjamin Franklin really meant. That knowing is better than wondering, that waking is better than sleeping, and even the biggest failure, even the worst, beat the hell out of never trying. "

A Small Story..
A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat.
A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.
Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?"
The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way." What he had written was: "Today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it."
Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing?
Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?
Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively.
Invite others towards good with wisdom. Live life with no excuse and love with no regrets. When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile. Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear.
Great men say, "Life has to be an incessant process of repair and reconstruction, of discarding evil and developing goodness…. In the journey of life, if you want to travel without fear, you must have the ticket of a good conscience."
The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling… And even more beautiful is, knowing that you are the reason behind it!!!

Love Letter from heaven..
Dear Mommy,
I just wanted to let you know that I made it home. The journey wasn't an easy one, but it didn't take too long. Everything is so pretty here, so white, so fresh and new. I wish that you could close your eyes and that you could see it too.
Please try not to be sad for me... Try to understand. God is taking care of me... I'm in the shelter of His hands. Here there is no sadness, no sorrow, and no pain. Here there is no crying, and I'll never hurt again.
Here it is so peaceful when all the angels sing, I really have to go now-I've just got to try my wings!
Love,
Your Little Angel Adeline

What Makes a Mother?
I thought of you and closed my eyes
And prayed to God today
I asked "What makes a Mother?"
And I know I heard Him say.
"A Mother has a baby"
This we know is true
"But God can you be a Mother,
When your baby's not with you?"
"Yes, you can,"
He replied With confidence in His voice
"I give many women babies,
When they leave is not their choice.
Some I send for a lifetime,
And others for the day.
And some I send to feel your womb,
But there's no need to stay."
"I just don't understand this God
I want my baby to be here."
He took a deep breath and cleared His throat,
And then I saw the tear.
"I wish I could show you,
What your child is doing today.
If you could see your child's smile,
With all the other children and say...
'We go to Earth to learn our lessons,
Of love and life and fear.
My Mommy loved me oh so much,
I got to come straight here.
I feel so lucky to have a Mom,
Who had so much love for me.
I learned my lessons very quickly,
My Mommy set me free.
I miss my Mommy so much,
But I visit her every day.
When she goes to sleep,
On her pillow's where I lay
I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek,
And whisper in her ear.
Mommy don't be sad today,
I'm your baby and I'm here.'
"So you see my dear sweet ones,
your children are okay.
Your babies are born here in My home,
And this is where they'll stay.
They'll wait for you with Me,
Until your lesson's through.
And on the day that you come home
they'll be at the gates for you.
So now you see what makes a Mother,
It's the feeling in your heart
it's the love you had so much of
Right from the very start
Though some on earth may not realize, you are a Mother.
Until their time is done.
They'll be up here with Me one day
and know that you are the best one!"
